Pneumatic Ultrasonic Metal Welder
- Precise and strong welds
- Welding of non-ferrous metals – copper, aluminum, nickel, and their alloys
- Thin sheet welding
- Joining of wires, cables, terminals, and others
Description
The ultrasonic metal welder creates a high-strength solid-state bond without the need for external heating, fluxes, or filler materials. The process is fast, reliable, and—thanks to minimal thermal impact—safe even for sensitive components. Ultrasonic vibrations effectively disperse surface oxides, resulting in a high-quality and electrically conductive joint. The process is easily controllable and optimized for automated production lines and high-volume manufacturing.
Applications
The ultrasonic welding kit is designed for the direct welding of thin metallic materials such as copper, aluminum, nickel, and their alloys. This specific configuration is used, for example, for welding copper tabs onto electric motor components. It is also suitable for fragile components. a materiály citlivé na teplo.
How does it work?
The materials to be welded are placed into a dedicated fixture. Once the cycle is initiated, the combination of clamping pressure and ultrasonic vibrations induces plastic deformation, creating a high-strength metallurgical bond. The entire process occurs in a solid state—without melting the metal—ensuring excellent conductivity and joint stability.
The UMW welding kit includes
- Ultrasonic transducer
- Pneumatically controlled stand
- Ultrasonic generator UZG10
- Welding sonotrode
- Foot switch (Not included in the standard delivery)
Sonotrode
The sonotrode is applied to the material and creates the welded joint.
