The SP150 series adjustable power supplies are suitable for applications requiring frequent changes in output voltage. These units are designed to power electrical and electronic devices with DC voltage in indoor environments free from explosion hazards. As this is a switching-mode power supply (SMPS), it achieves high efficiency even at low output voltages. Consequently, the unit does not generate excessive heat at low output levels, as is common with linear power supplies. The output voltage can be adjusted from 0 V to 30 V or 0 V to 50 V, depending on the specific model. The power supply features adjustable current limiting. The set voltage and the drawn current can be monitored on the unit's built-in meter.
Warning: The current limiting function is only operational in a steady state. During a transient phenomenon, the power supply may deliver a current exceeding the preset limit. This is caused by the capacitance connected to the output of the power supply.
